The movie follows the story of Paul, a skilled accountant who has been working for the infamous mob in Chicago for years. One day, Paul discovers that his employer has been embezzling millions of dollars from the organization. Fearing for his life, he decides to go into hiding and take along with him crucial evidence of the mob's illegal activities.
However, Paul's escape is far from easy. As he attempts to leave Chicago, he is confronted by a group of armed robbers who are also after the stolen money. The robbers have set the city on fire, creating massive fire tornadoes that make it almost impossible for Paul to escape.
In the midst of the chaos, Paul navigates through the burning city, fighting to stay alive and protect the evidence that could bring the entire mob down. Along the way, he encounters a rogue group of firefighters who take pity on him and offer to help him escape the city.
