Finding Neverland is a biographical drama film directed by Marc Forster. The film tells the story of the Scottish playwright J.M. Barrie, who is struggling to find inspiration for his next play. One day, while walking in Kensington Gardens, Barrie meets Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, a widow with four young boys: George, Jack, Michael, and Peter. Barrie is immediately drawn to the boys and begins to spend time with them, playing games and telling them stories.

As Barrie spends more time with Sylvia and her boys, he becomes a part of their lives and the boys become the inspiration for his most famous work, Peter Pan. Barrie is able to capture the essence of childhood imagination and playfulness with the character of Peter Pan and the magic of Neverland. However, the relationship between Barrie and the Llewelyn Davies family is not without its challenges, particularly when Sylvia's mother and Barrie's wife begin to question their close friendship. Despite this, Barrie continues to draw inspiration from the Llewelyn Davies family, ultimately creating one of the most beloved children's stories of all time.

The film stars Johnny Depp as J.M. Barrie and Kate Winslet as Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, with supporting roles from Julie Christie and Dustin Hoffman. It was nominated for seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor for Depp, and Best Original Score by Jan A.P. Kaczmarek. The film was both a critical and commercial success and has since become a beloved classic.
