Finding Bliss is a comedy-drama film that was released in 2009, directed by Julie Davis and starring Leelee Sobieski, Matt Davis, Denise Richards, and Kristen Johnston. The movie tells the story of Jody Balaban, a talented and ambitious filmmaker who moves to Los Angeles from New York to pursue her dreams.

Jody quickly discovers that making it in the film industry is much harder than she expected. Despite her impressive credentials and strong work ethic, she can't find a job that will allow her to use her filmmaking skills. Frustrated and desperate for income, Jody takes a job editing adult entertainment videos.

As she works in the adult industry, Jody begins to feel more and more disillusioned with her dreams of making a meaningful movie. However, she gets a chance to explore her creative side when she takes a job at Grind Productions, a porn studio, where she secretly works on her own film project using their facilities at night.

Jody's secret filmmaking gets her into trouble with her boss, Jeff Drake (played by Matt Davis) who is also her love interest. He threatens to get her fired, but eventually agrees to help her with her movie and the two begin working together.

As Jody and Jeff collaborate on the film, they must navigate the challenges of working in the adult industry while trying to create a meaningful artistic work. Along the way, Jody gains valuable insight into herself and her passion for filmmaking, and ultimately decides what is most important to her.
