The teenager, Alex Browning, is on a school trip to Paris when he has the vision of the plane crashing. He becomes hysterical and is removed from the flight, along with several of his friends, including Clear Rivers, who believes his vision. The plane then crashes and everyone on board is killed.
As they try to move on with their lives, strange and deadly accidents begin to happen to the survivors. Alex and Clear realize that Death is coming for them, and they start to investigate how to stop it. They consult a creepy mortician, who explains that Death has a design and a timeline, and once it has been disrupted, it will not rest until everyone involved is dead.
The group tries to avoid Death's design and stay alive, but their efforts only seem to anger Death and lead to even more deadly incidents. As the body count rises, they must figure out how to break the cycle and cheat Death once and for all.
Final Destination is a suspenseful and creative horror movie that explores the concept of fate and the inevitability of death. It spawned several sequels and became a cult classic in the horror genre.
