The movie follows a group of coworkers who are on their way to a company retreat when one of them has a premonition about a suspension bridge collapsing. In his vision, he sees himself and his coworkers being killed in gruesome ways. He warns everyone, and some of them decide to get off the bus and walk across the bridge instead. Just as predicted, the bridge collapses, and everyone on the bus is killed.
But soon, the survivors begin to die one by one in freak accidents. They realize that Death is coming after them, and they must find a way to cheat death once again. Along the way, they uncover clues about how to break the chain of events that leads to their deaths.
The deaths in the movie are particularly gruesome, including impalements, decapitations, and explosions. The characters also have to grapple with the moral implications of cheating death, and the consequences that come with it.
Ultimately, the group discovers that they must sacrifice someone in order to save the others. The ending of the movie is a shocking twist that ties all the events together in a satisfying way, while leaving the door open for future installments in the franchise.
