After the tragic events in Warsaw, Filip is left alone and devastated. He manages to escape the ghetto and ends up in Frankfurt, where he finds a job as a waiter in a hotel restaurant. He tries to forget about his past and move on with his life, but he still carries the pain and trauma of his loss.
One day, a group of German officers come into the restaurant and Filip recognizes one of them as the man responsible for the shooting in the Warsaw cabaret. Fueled by anger and revenge, Filip starts to plot against the officer, but he soon realizes that he can't do it alone. He turns to a group of Jewish resistance fighters who are hiding in the city, and together they plan a daring operation to take down the Nazi officer.
As Filip gets more and more involved in the resistance, he meets a young woman named Rachel, who also lost her family in the war. They both find solace in each other's company and start to build a new life together. However, their happiness is short-lived, as the Gestapo discover their plans and launch a brutal crackdown on the resistance.
In a race against time, Filip and Rachel, along with their fellow fighters, must fight to survive and carry out their mission. As the war rages on, they face impossible odds and heartbreaking losses, but they refuse to give up. In the end, Filip learns that to live with his past, he must confront it head-on and fight for a better future for himself and his people.
