Redemption and Reconnection: A Therapist's Journey

The movie Fierce People tells the story of a young massage therapist named Liz who struggles with addiction and has lost touch with her son. Desperate to turn her life around, she moves in with a wealthy ex-client named Ogden, who offers her a job and a place to stay.

Ogden lives in a sprawling estate in the countryside along with his teenage son, Finn, and various staff members. Liz is initially wary of Ogden's wealth and status, but soon becomes fascinated by his world and the people in it.

As she begins to reconnect with her son, Liz also develops a complex relationship with Finn, who is both charming and troubled. She also learns about Ogden's research on the Yanomami people, an indigenous tribe in South America, and becomes interested in their way of life and culture.

However, Liz's newfound stability is threatened when Finn's behavior becomes increasingly erratic and dangerous, and she is forced to confront her own issues and past traumas. Along the way, she must decide what kind of person she wants to be and how she wants to live her life.

Fierce People is a coming-of-age story that explores themes of class, race, addiction, and family. It stars Diane Lane, Donald Sutherland, Chris Evans, and Kristen Stewart.
