Feng Shui is a South Korean horror movie, directed by Park Hee-kon and released in 2018. The story is set in 17th century Joseon Dynasty, a period of political intrigue and assassination plots. PARK Jae-sang (played by Cho Seung-woo) is a respected geomancer with a talent for finding auspicious sites for construction and burial. He is happily married to In-kyeong (played by Kim Sung-kyun) and has a young son.
One day, he is summoned to the palace by the Crown Prince to locate a grave site that would protect the dynasty from misfortune. PARK Jae-sang realizes that the chosen site is not only inauspicious but also harbors dark secrets. He shares his concerns with the Crown Prince but provokes the wrath of court officials who have vested interests in obtaining the site.
Soon after, tragedy strikes in PARK Jae-sang's family, and he is falsely accused of conspiring against the Crown Prince. His wife and son are executed, and he is imprisoned and tortured. However, he manages to escape and begins a quest for revenge. With the help of his former apprentice, he uncovers a network of conspirators who use geomancy to manipulate the power struggle in the dynasty.
The movie explores the theme of fate and how it can be altered by human greed and ambition. PARK Jae-sang and his enemies are all driven by a desire to secure their future, but their actions inadvertently bring about their downfall.
