The movie Fearless Hyena was released in 1979 and was directed by and starred Jackie Chan. The film follows the story of a young man named Shing Lung, who lives in a remote village with his grandfather, the master of a Kong-Fu school. Despite his grandfather's warnings not to show their Kong-Fu to others, Shing Lung keeps getting into fights, showing off his skills.
One day, after beating up some thugs, Shing Lung is approached by the thugs' boss, who offers him a job as the master of a Kong-Fu school. Shing Lung, tempted by the offer, accepts the job and becomes a popular Kong-Fu teacher, attracting many students.
However, Shing Lung soon realizes that his new job comes with a price. His old enemy, who has a grudge against Shing Lung's grandfather, comes to challenge him. Shing Lung is determined to defend his family's honor and fights the enemy, using all his Kong-Fu skills.
In Fearless Hyena, Jackie Chan showcases his martial arts abilities and also adds his comedic touch to the film. The movie was a huge success in Hong Kong and helped launch Chan's career as an international action star.
