Fast Five is the fifth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise and was released in 2011. The movie sees Brian O'Conner and Mia Toretto, along with their team of skilled drivers, team up with Dom Toretto in Rio de Janeiro to plan and execute a heist that will give them enough money to retire safely and escape the law that is hot on their tails.

The plan involves stealing $100 million from a corrupt businessman and drug lord named Hernan Reyes, who has connections to the Brazilian police force. To pull off the heist, Brian and Dom assemble a team of expert drivers from the previous Fast and Furious movies, including Roman Pearce, Tej Parker, and Han Lue. They also recruit two new members – a tech-savvy hacker named Leo and a weapons specialist named Santos.

The team must navigate the dangerous streets of Rio de Janeiro, evade the police, and outsmart Reyes and his henchmen. They use their driving skills and expertise to take out Reyes' army of heavily armed mercenaries and pull off some of the most thrilling action sequences in the entire franchise.

Fast Five also introduces a new character to the series – federal agent Luke Hobbs, played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Hobbs is assigned to track down Dom and his team and bring them to justice. Hobbs is a formidable opponent, but he eventually realizes that he needs to team up with Dom and his crew to take down Reyes and put an end to his criminal empire.

The movie ends with a thrilling chase scene involving a bank vault strapped to two sports cars. The team finally manages to outwit Reyes and drive away with the stolen money, but not before they are pursued by Hobbs and his team.

Fast Five is widely regarded as one of the best movies in the Fast and Furious franchise and was a massive box office success, grossing over $630 million worldwide. The movie's success led to the creation of several sequels and spinoffs, cementing the Fast and Furious franchise as one of the most successful and beloved movie franchises of all time.
