In the film, Hobbs and Shaw are forced to work together when a cybernetically enhanced terrorist named Brixton Lore (played by Idris Elba) steals a deadly virus and threatens global destruction. Despite their initial animosity towards each other, Hobbs and Shaw must put aside their differences and team up to take down Brixton and save the world.
