In the movie Fast & Furious 6, the crew is living off the grid after their successful heist in Rio de Janeiro. Hobbs tracks down Dominic and Brian to seek their help in taking down a team of mercenaries led by former SAS soldier Owen Shaw, who has been stealing military technology. Although reluctant at first, Dominic agrees after learning that Letty, his presumed dead girlfriend, is working for Shaw.
The crew, including Roman, Tej, Han, and Gisele, reunites and travels to London, where they track down Letty and recruit her to help take down Shaw. Hobbs also brings in a special agent named Riley Hicks to assist the crew. Meanwhile, Shaw has acquired a destructive device known as "Nightshade" and plans to sell it to the highest bidder.
During a high-speed chase through the streets of London, Letty ends up with amnesia after a car crash. The crew succeeds in stealing Nightshade from Shaw, but Letty is captured by him. The crew helps Letty regain her memories and confronts Shaw and his team at a military airfield. In the ensuing fight, Gisele sacrifices herself to save Han, and Shaw is ultimately defeated and arrested.
In the end, the crew returns to the United States, where they enjoy their newfound freedom and say goodbye to Gisele at a funeral. However, the final scene reveals that Letty has a mysterious past and may not be who she appears to be.
