After her mother's death, Zeynep becomes increasingly overwhelmed and feels suffocated by the expectations of her family. In an attempt to find some peace and to rediscover herself, Zeynep travels to an island in Croatia where her mother owned a house. The house is a remote and tranquil retreat, and Zeynep hopes to find solitude and relaxation there.

However, upon arriving at the house, Zeynep discovers that the property is still being occupied by the previous owner, an aging Croatian man named Josip. At first, Zeynep is reluctant to share the house with Josip but eventually warms up to him and discovers that he is a kind and wise person who becomes a valuable ally and friend.

As Zeynep spends more time on the island, she begins to open up and heal from the emotional wounds that had been festering inside her for years. She learns to let go of the expectations that others have placed on her, and instead, begins to live life on her own terms.

The movie Faraway is a touching exploration of the human condition, and how we can find inner peace in unexpected places. It is a movie about accepting ourselves, letting go of what holds us back, and embracing the beauty of life. The film features excellent performances by its lead actors, particularly the outstanding Julia E. Lenska, who shines in the role of Zeynep. Overall, Faraway is a beautiful and uplifting movie that will leave audiences feeling inspired and empowered.
