Far More is a drama film directed by Ally Damian Walker. The movie tells the story of Sean McAllister, a New York-based fashion designer who is quite successful in his career but has become estranged from his family over the years. Sean receives a call from his sister, Meghan (played by Caroline Day), telling him that their father has passed away.
Sean reluctantly returns to his hometown in Texas for his father's funeral, where he has to confront his troubled past and patch things up with his family, especially with his mother, Mary (portrayed by Lynn Collins), who is deeply hurt by his absence. As he spends more time with them, he begins to realize that there is far more to life than just work. He also reflects on his past mistakes and starts to question his priorities in life.
The movie explores themes of family, love, forgiveness, and redemption, showcasing the struggles of a successful individual trying to reconcile with his past and find a path to a better future. The film features a talented cast, including Adrian Grenier, Lynn Collins, Caroline Day, and Daniel Webber, among others. Far More premiered at Cinequest Film Festival in March 2021.
