Callie A. Coleman is a high school student who is struggling to deal with the recent divorce of her parents, Bobby and Keisha. Callie is an avid football fan and a talented quarterback herself, but she is constantly overlooked by her school's football team due to her gender.
One day, while practicing her throwing skills in the park, Callie discovers that she has the power to control her father's performance on the football field. When she throws the ball, she realizes that her father's movements on the field mimic her own. Excited by this discovery, Callie starts to experiment with her newfound ability and eventually discovers that she can control Bobby's entire game, including the other players on the field.
As Callie continues to play as her father, Bobby starts to gain recognition as a talented player, and the team starts to win more games. With Callie's help, Bobby becomes the star running back on his team and is scouted by college recruiters. However, their success on the field starts to cause tension within their family, as Bobby becomes increasingly obsessed with football and neglects his relationship with Keisha.
As the pressure mounts, Callie is forced to confront the consequences of her actions and consider whether the price of their success is too high. With the help of her mother, Callie learns to strike a balance between her love of football and her family's needs. The movie ends with Callie leading her team to the playoffs while also reuniting her family.
