Eye of the Beholder is a 1999 thriller film directed by Stephan Elliott and stars Ewan McGregor as the reclusive surveillance expert named "Eye." He is hired by the British intelligence agency MI5 to find and follow a mysterious woman who goes by the name of Joanna Eris (Ashley Judd).
Eye becomes obsessed with Joanna, following her every move as she travels across Europe and the United States. As he delves deeper into her private life, he begins to realize that Joanna may not be the victim of a blackmailer, but rather a dangerous, manipulative serial killer.
With the help of his MI5 handler, Alex (Patrick Bergin), Eye continues to track Joanna and unravel her dark secrets. However, as he becomes increasingly entangled in her twisted web, Eye's own sanity is called into question.
