Extremity follows Allie, a young woman with a history of trauma and self-harm, as she signs up for an extreme horror experience called Perdition. She hopes that by overcoming the intense physical and psychological challenges of Perdition, she can conquer her inner demons and heal from her past traumas.
After arriving at the isolated Perdition campsite in the woods, Allie meets the other participants and the stern, charismatic leader of the experience, known only as "The Master." He warns them that Perdition is not for the faint of heart and that they must sign a waiver agreeing to physically and mentally challenging experiences. Allie is undeterred and eagerly signs the waiver, determined to prove herself.
As the nightmarish experience unfolds, Allie's mental and emotional state becomes increasingly fragile, and she begins to question whether she can handle the ordeal. The horror scenes become increasingly violent and graphic, and Allie finds herself struggling with horrifying visions from her past.
As the night stretches on, Allie begins to realize that the horrors of Perdition may be all too real and that the Master has dangerous intentions that go beyond a typical horror experience.
