Extreme Prejudice is a 1987 action thriller directed by Walter Hill and starring Nick Nolte, Powers Boothe, and Michael Ironside. The film tells the story of Texas Ranger Jack Benteen (Nolte) and his childhood friend Cash Bailey (Boothe), who grew up together in a small Texas town. While Jack became a law enforcement officer, Cash turned to a life of crime and became a ruthless drug kingpin.
Years later, the two friends find themselves on opposite sides of the law, as Jack is tasked with taking down Cash's drug empire. However, as they engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse, Jack begins to question whether he can truly bring himself to bring down the person who was once his closest friend.
