The struggling couple, Peter and Tess, have been facing financial difficulties and finding it hard to connect with one another. After losing their jobs and on the brink of divorce, they decide to take a trip to Mexico for a change of scenery. However, they end up lost and in the small town of Las Reynas instead of their intended destination of Cancun.
As they spend more time in Las Reynas, they meet a group of locals who teach them about the importance of family and community. They also meet Father Arturo, who helps them reignite their faith and love for each other.
Throughout their journey in Las Reynas, Peter and Tess confront their past mistakes and rediscover their love for each other. As they help the community in Las Reynas and develop relationships with the people there, they find a newfound appreciation for the simpler things in life.
