Exit Wounds is a 2001 action thriller film directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak and starring Steven Seagal and DMX. The film follows Orin Boyd, a police detective who is demoted to the 15th precinct in Detroit after interfering with a high-profile case. At the precinct, he discovers a group of corrupt detectives who are involved in selling heroin confiscated from drug busts.
After witnessing a drug deal, Boyd is framed for the murder of a civilian and is forced to team up with Latrell Walker, a gangster and former foe, to uncover the truth about the corrupt cops. The two men soon find themselves in a race against time to expose the corrupt cops before they can silence them permanently.
As Boyd and Walker work together to bring down the rogue cops, they face numerous obstacles including shootouts, car chases, and bomb threats. The film also explores the relationship between the two unlikely allies as Boyd gradually earns Walker's trust and friendship.
In addition to Seagal and DMX, the film features a talented cast including Tom Arnold, Isaiah Washington, and Jill Hennessy. The film was generally well-received by audiences and critics alike and was a box office success, grossing over $79 million worldwide.
