Ex-Files 3: The Return of the Exes is a 2017 Chinese romantic comedy film directed by Tian Yusheng. It is the sequel to the 2015 film Ex-Files and follows the story of two best friends, Meng Yun and Yu Fei, who have recently gone through breakups with their respective girlfriends. They decide to embrace the single life and indulge in partying and womanizing like they used to in their younger days.
However, their carefree lifestyle is short-lived as their ex-girlfriends suddenly reappear in their lives. As the two men try to help their exes, they unwittingly become entangled in a romantic web, with old feelings resurfacing and new relationships forming. Meng Yun finds himself falling for Bai Xiaoyu again, while Yu Fei discovers that he might have feelings for Xiao Lu’s sister.
The film is a humorous take on relationships and the difficulties of moving on after a breakup. The cast includes Han Geng, Ryan Zheng, Joe Chen, and Zhang Huiwen. It was a box office success in China, grossing over $117 million.
