Evil Eye is a psychological thriller movie released in 2020. The story revolves around a mother named Usha, who is concerned about her daughter's love life. Her daughter, Pallavi, a young Indian-American, lives in New Orleans and falls in love with Sandeep, a man from Delhi. However, Usha begins to suspect that Sandeep may have a sinister connection to her past after a series of strange incidents occur.
Usha has a troubled past where she was almost killed by an abusive ex-boyfriend, who had an obsession with her. She believes that Sandeep may be the reincarnation of her ex-boyfriend and is trying to harm Pallavi. Usha shares her suspicions with Pallavi, but Pallavi is dismissive and thinks her mother is overreacting.
Usha then contacts an astrologer in India who confirms her fears about Sandeep's past life connection with Usha. Suddenly, Pallavi starts experiencing strange visions and nightmares which Usha believes are messages from her past.
