Evil Dead Rise is the upcoming fourth installment in the Evil Dead franchise. It is directed by Lee Cronin and produced by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, who starred in the original trilogy. The film will take place in a new setting, following two sisters who discover an old vinyl record while cleaning out their deceased mother's apartment in Los Angeles.
When they play the record, they inadvertently unleash bloodthirsty demons that possess their bodies, turning them into powerful killing machines. The demons quickly spread throughout the apartment building, terrorizing and possessing other tenants and causing chaos and destruction.
The two sisters must fight for their survival and find a way to stop the evil before it spreads beyond the building and infects the rest of the city. Along the way, they will have to confront their own dark past and family secrets that may have led to the demonic outbreak.
