Mia, the protagonist, is brought to the cabin by her friends to help her get over her addiction to drugs. However, she begins to experience strange and terrifying occurrences and soon discovers the Book of the Dead. Ignoring warnings written in the book, Mia and her friends unwittingly recite incantations that unleash evil spirits.
One by one, the group is possessed and transformed into grotesque, violent creatures. The demons torment and torture the remaining survivors, including Mia's brother David, who is forced to confront his own demons as he fights to save the people he loves and escape the deadly clutches of the forest.
As the horror escalates, Mia must confront the demons within herself to overcome her addiction and fight back against the forces of evil that threaten to destroy them all. The movie is a gory and intense horror experience that explores the power of addiction and the terror of ancient and malevolent entities.
