Trevor and Jenna are a young couple who have been together for two years. They are excited to take their first vacation together to an exotic island paradise. Upon arriving, they are greeted by the stunning view and beautiful beaches. They soon meet another couple, Alex and David, who are also on vacation on the island.
One evening, as they were enjoying a drink at a local bar, they overhead a conversation about a fugitive who had escaped from prison on the mainland and was believed to be on the island. They thought little of it at first, believing that it couldn't possibly affect their perfect vacation.
The next day, they decided to go on a hike to discover more of the island's natural beauty. As they hiked, they stumbled upon the fugitive's hideout, where they were spotted and chased by the fugitive. They are forced to flee and hide, but their attempts to contact the authorities are futile as their cell phones have no reception on the island.
Eventually, the fugitive catches up with them and claims that he only wants to keep them from leaving the island until the authorities are no longer searching for him. His demand becomes increasingly erratic and violent, forcing the couple to flee.
As they flee and fight for survival, they discover that the island has many secrets, including a dark past and a hidden underground bunker. In the end, they must summon all their courage and strength to escape the island and the danger that awaits them.
