Escape from Planet Earth is a computer-animated science fiction comedy movie, released in 2013. The movie is directed by Cal Brunker and produced by Rainmaker Entertainment. The story follows the adventure of a blue alien named Scorch Supernova, who works for BASA (Bureau of Alien Scavengers Association) with his level-headed scientist brother, Gary. Meanwhile, Gary, with the help of his colleague, the intelligent but quirky alien named Doc, sets out to rescue his brother from Shanker's grip. They form an alliance with two of Shanker's former prisoners, a mysterious red alien named Thurman and a desperate, but friendly mouse-like creature named Io. Together, they must navigate dangerous obstacles, outsmart the evil Shanker, and rescue Scorch before it's too late.
Escape from Planet Earth features an impressive voice cast, including Brendan Fraser as Scorch, Rob Corddry as Gary, Jessica Alba as Shanker's assistant, SofÃa Vergara as Scorch's TV producer girlfriend, William Shatner as General Shanker, and others.
