Entangled follows Marin, a French woman living in New York City, as she struggles to find her place in the world. Disconnected from her body, her boyfriend, and her family, Marin seems adrift, unsure of what she wants or how to get it.
Over the course of a tumultuous weekend, Marin has chance encounters with both a stranger and an ex-boyfriend, each of whom challenges her in different ways. The stranger encourages Marin to let go of her fears and embrace the unknown, while the ex-boyfriend confronts her about their past and forces her to confront unresolved emotions.
As Marin grapples with these experiences, she begins to find her voice and assert herself more confidently in the world. She also reconnects with her body through dance, developing a new sense of physicality that helps her feel more grounded and centered.
