As the USSM scrambles to uncover what happened to the Genesis and the military prisoner, a team of investigators is sent to find the missing ship. They are led by Captain Devin McKenna, a seasoned officer who is determined to unravel the mystery surrounding the tragedy.
Upon arriving at the location of the Genesis, the team discovers that all of the crew members have been brutally murdered. The ship is in complete disarray, and there are no signs of a struggle or attack, leaving the investigators puzzled as to what could have caused all of these deaths.
