Enemy is a psychological thriller directed by Denis Villeneuve and is based on the novel "The Double" by José Saramago. The movie follows Adam Bell, a history professor who leads a monotonous life in Toronto. One day, a colleague recommends a movie to him where he notices a minor actor who looks exactly like him. Curiosity gets the best of him, and he decides to track down the actor, Anthony St. Claire.
As Adam obsessively searches for Anthony, he discovers that they not only look identical but also have similar mannerisms. Adam takes it upon himself to investigate Anthony's life and becomes entangled in his double's dark and mysterious world.
