Enemies Closer is a 2013 action-thriller film directed by Peter Hyams and written by Eric and James Bromberg. The film stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as a drug lord named Xander who enlists the help of forest ranger and former Navy SEAL, Henry (played by Tom Everett Scott), to retrieve a lost shipment of drugs. Unfortunately for Henry, he is not the only one trying to retrieve the drugs. A man named Clay (played by Orlando Jones) also arrives on the scene with a personal vendetta against Henry and is seeking revenge.
Soon, Henry and Clay find themselves stranded in the wilderness with no communication to the outside world and with drug runners closing in on them. As they navigate the dangerous terrain, the two enemies are forced to work together to survive. They must overcome their personal differences and learn to trust each other if they want any chance of getting out alive.
The film was largely shot in a forested area in British Columbia, Canada, which helped to create a tense and atmospheric setting for the action to unfold.
