End Trip is a psychological horror movie that was directed by Aaron Jay Rome and released in 2018. The movie follows the story of a rideshare driver named Brandon, played by Aaron Jay Rome, who picks up a passenger named Judd, played by Dean J. West, on a calm night.
As they journey through the city, Judd begins to open up to Brandon about his recent messy breakup and his feelings of anger and betrayal towards his ex-girlfriend. Brandon listens attentively and offers Judd words of reassurance, telling him that he will find someone else and that everything will be okay.
However, as the night goes on, Judd's behavior becomes increasingly erratic and disturbing. He starts to blur the lines between the physical and technological worlds, using his smartphone to track down his ex-girlfriend and confront her face-to-face. When Brandon tries to intervene, Judd becomes violent and the two men are launched into a terrifying and hallucinatory journey that forces them to confront their deepest fears and desires.
End Trip explores themes such as technology, social media, mental health, and the dangers of obsession and addiction. With surreal imagery, atmospheric sound design, and strong performances from its cast, the movie is a thought-provoking and disturbing journey into the dark side of human nature.
