Enchanted is a 2007 American live-action/animated musical comedy film directed by Kevin Lima and written by Bill Kelly. Robert is initially annoyed by Giselle's presence, but eventually grows to appreciate her pure and optimistic outlook on life.
Meanwhile, back in Andalasia, Prince Edward and his loyal sidekick, Nathaniel (played by Spall), set off through the portal to rescue Giselle and bring her back to her rightful place as princess and bride. However, their arrival in New York City complicates matters as they struggle to fit in and find Giselle.
As Giselle spends more time in the real world, she begins to fall in love with Robert, despite being already promised to Prince Edward. Robert, too, begins to have feelings for Giselle, but is torn between his practical and realistic approach to life and the enchanting world of fairy tales that Giselle comes from.
As the story unfolds, Giselle's plight becomes more difficult as Queen Narissa is determined to get rid of her once and for all. Giselle, Robert, Edward, and Nathaniel all find themselves fighting to protect Giselle and find a way back to Andalasia.
Enchanted is a heartwarming and humorous take on the classic fairy tale genre, blending traditional animation with live-action and featuring a talented cast of actors and captivating musical numbers.
