Employee of the Month Movie Synopsis

The Ambitious Store Rivalry of the Month

Comedy,Romance  United States of America

The movie Employee of the Month is a romantic comedy that follows the story of Zack Bradley, a lazy box boy at a Costco-like superstore called Super Club. When Zack hears that the new cashier, Amy, is only interested in dating the "Employee of the Month" winner, he sets his sights on winning the award in order to impress her.

Zack's co-worker and nemesis, Vince, is also vying for the title, and the competition quickly becomes intense. Vince is the reigning Employee of the Month, having won the award for 17 consecutive months, and he takes it very seriously. Zack is initially lazy and unmotivated, but as he becomes more determined to win the award and win Amy's heart, he begins to work harder and harder.

Along the way, Zack enlists the help of his fellow employees, including a sassy cashier named Lonnie and a retired employee named Glen Gary. He also starts to develop a romantic relationship with Amy, but their budding romance is threatened by Vince, who will stop at nothing to retain his title.

As the competition heats up, Zack and Vince engage in a series of hilarious and sometimes dangerous stunts to try to outdo each other. When the day of the Employee of the Month announcement arrives, the tension is at an all-time high, and both Zack and Vince are determined to come out on top.

In the end, however, it is revealed that the new "Employee of the Month" award is actually a ruse to boost morale, and there is no actual prize. Both Zack and Vince are disappointed, but they also realize that their rivalry has pushed them to become better employees and better people. Zack and Amy decide to continue their relationship, and Vince finally learns to let go of his obsession with winning.
