Emily is a young woman who has just graduated from college with student loan debt and a criminal record for a minor offense. She has been struggling to find a job in her field and is stuck working minimum wage jobs to pay off her debt.
One day, Emily meets a charismatic woman named Carla who introduces her to a group of people involved in a credit card scam. Desperate for money and feeling trapped by her situation, Emily becomes involved in the scam, which involves stealing credit card information and using it to make purchases.
As Emily becomes more involved in the criminal underworld of Los Angeles, she starts to make more money and gain a sense of empowerment. However, the consequences of her actions begin to catch up to her as her involvement in the scam becomes more dangerous.
Emily starts to realize that she is in over her head and wants to get out, but it seems impossible as her fellow scammers become increasingly violent and the law begins to close in on them. Ultimately, the situation leads to deadly consequences as Emily must face the consequences of her actions and the dangerous world she has become a part of.
