The college freshman in question is Charlotte (played by Alyssa Milano), who begins experiencing vivid, erotic dreams after arriving on campus. These dreams become increasingly intense and graphic, and she soon realizes that they are being sent to her by a mysterious, handsome vampire named Stefan (played by Martin Kemp).
Charlotte finds herself inexplicably drawn to Stefan, despite his dangerous nature, and begins to explore her own carnal desires under his guidance. As she delves deeper into the world of vampires and their dark, erotic rituals, she must also contend with the jealousy and violence of Stefan's other lovers, as well as her own growing confusion and fear.
