Elvis and Me is a biographical film based on the book of the same name written by Priscilla Presley, the former wife of rock and roll legend Elvis Presley. The movie begins with Priscilla's teenage years in Germany, where her father was stationed with the US Air Force. It is there that she first meets Elvis, who was serving in the military at the time.

After a whirlwind romance, Priscilla moves to Graceland with Elvis and becomes a part of his world of fame, fortune, and excess. However, she quickly realizes that life with the King of Rock and Roll is not what she had imagined it to be. Elvis is consumed by his career and plagued by his own insecurities and addiction to prescription drugs.

Despite the challenges of their tumultuous marriage, Priscilla remains loyal to Elvis and stands by him through his darkest moments. She soon becomes a mother to their daughter, Lisa Marie, and tries to provide a stable home life for her family.

As Elvis's health deteriorates and his substance abuse becomes more pronounced, Priscilla faces a difficult decision about their future together. Ultimately, the couple divorces, but Priscilla remains a close confidante to Elvis until his untimely death in 1977.

The movie portrays the complex and often rocky relationship between Elvis and Priscilla, and how it was shaped by the pressures of fame, addiction, and the tumultuous era of the 1960s and 1970s.
