Eli's parents, Rose (Kelly Reilly) and Paul (Max Martini), are desperate to find a cure for their son's condition after trying multiple treatments. They discover a clinic run by Dr. Horn (Lili Taylor) who claims to have a unique method of treating Eli's illness. Eli is excited to finally have some hope, but he soon realizes that things are not what they seem at the clinic.
As Eli undergoes treatment, he starts experiencing strange occurrences that he believes are caused by ghosts. He confides in Haley (Sadie Sink), a fellow patient who has been at the clinic for years, and she agrees to help him explore the facility to uncover the truth.
As they investigate, they discover that the clinic was built on an old graveyard, and the spirits of the dead are haunting the patients. Eli becomes more and more convinced that he needs to escape the clinic. However, his attempts to leave are met with resistance from Dr. Horn, who seems to have a sinister agenda.
In the end, Eli discovers that he is not actually suffering from an autoimmune disorder, but rather from a demonic possession. He has to fight to rid himself of the demon and escape the clutches of Dr. Horn. The movie ends with Eli being reunited with his family, but with a haunting question of whether his experiences were real or just a manifestation of his illness.
