Eleven Eleven follows the life of a man named Joe, who has been obsessed with UFOs and alien abductions since he was a child. His obsession has strained his relationships with his wife and children over the years, as he spends all his free time researching and investigating reported sightings.
One day, Joe discovers a website that claims to know the exact time and location of an imminent alien abduction. Against the protests of his family, Joe sets out to that location on the appointed date, hoping to finally have his own close encounter with extraterrestrial beings.
As the clock ticks closer to 11:11 pm, the designated time of the abduction, tensions rise as Joe's family worries about his safety and sanity. When a bright light descends from the sky and UFOs appear, Joe is elated, until he realizes that the beings he's encountering may not be friendly.
The movie explores the consequences of Joe's blind pursuit of his dream, and the toll it takes on his relationships and mental health. It also questions the very nature of the desire to encounter alien life and the dangers that come with it.
