"Eega" is a 2012 Indian fantasy revenge film directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film stars Nani, Samantha Akkineni, and Sudeep in lead roles.
The story opens with Nani, a young and talented flower decorator, who falls in love with his neighbour Bindhu (Samantha). Bindhu, who is unaware of Nani's feelings, goes to inform him about her upcoming marriage to Sudeep (Sudeep), a wealthy businessman who is also Nani's client. Sudeep, who is possessive and jealous of Bindhu's love for Nani, kills him in a fit of rage.
Nani is reborn as a housefly and is determined to take revenge for his death. He follows Sudeep everywhere and creates chaos in his life. Sudeep, who is annoyed by the housefly, tries to kill it, but Nani outsmarts him every time. However, Sudeep eventually realizes that the housefly is Nani reborn and becomes more determined to kill him.
The rest of the film revolves around Nani's efforts to seek revenge and his attempts to stop Sudeep from harming Bindhu. The climax of the film is a battle between Sudeep and Nani in his fly form, which leads to a shocking and unexpected twist in the story.
"Eega" was a critical and commercial success and won several awards for its innovative storytelling, visual effects, and performances. The film's success spawned a Hindi dubbed version titled "Makkhi" and a Mandarin dubbed version for the Chinese market.
