The protagonist of the movie is a teenage boy named Alex, who has been surviving on his own in the post-apocalyptic world for as long as he can remember. He has learned to live off the land, hunting and scavenging for food and avoiding any contact with other people.
However, his world is turned upside down when he encounters a group of survivors led by a ruthless man named Tom. Tom and his group have been eking out a living in a small community, but their resources are dwindling and they need to find more food to survive.
Alex is hesitant to join the group, but he soon realizes that he has no other choice if he wants to continue living. As he starts to integrate with the others, he learns more about their struggles and the dangers they face on a daily basis.
But just as they think they have found a way to survive together, they are attacked by a pack of mutated creatures that are unlike anything they have ever seen before. The group must work together to fight off this new threat and ensure their survival.
Along the way, Alex forms a bond with a young girl named Ellie, who has also been struggling to survive in the harsh environment. Together, they must navigate the dangerous world and face their fears in order to ensure their survival and that of their group.
