Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives! is a 1989 American film directed by Jean-Claude Lord and starring Michael Paré, Marina Orsini, and Bernie Coulson. It is a sequel to the 1983 film Eddie and the Cruisers.

The story picks up years after the supposed death of Eddie Wilson, the former lead singer of the popular band, Eddie and the Cruisers. Eddie has been living a secluded life in Montreal, working as a carpenter and trying to forget about his past as a rockstar.

However, his love for music and the memory of his former bandmates drive him to create a new band, Eddie Wilson and the Cruisers II, despite the fact that he has lost his voice due to an accident. He recruits a young Canadian singer, Maggie Foley, as the new lead vocalist.

The band struggles to find its footing and make a name for itself, facing the challenges of starting a new band and living up to the legacy of Eddie and the original Cruisers. Meanwhile, a former manager of the band discovers that Eddie is still alive and tries to lure him back into the industry.

As the band gains momentum and begins to find success, Eddie is faced with the decision of revealing his true identity and risking his safety and privacy, or disappearing once again into obscurity.

Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives! features a soundtrack of original songs written by John Cafferty and performed by his band, The Beaver Brown Band. The film received mixed reviews from critics but has gained a cult following among fans of the original film and 80s music.
