As Max sets off on her journey to find her estranged girlfriend, she encounters a series of bizarre and eccentric characters along the way. Desperate to unload the drugs she stole, she gets drawn into the seedy underbelly of the criminal world, putting herself in danger.
Simultaneously, Max is haunted by memories of her dead sister, whose body she may or may not have in the trunk of her car. The guilt and grief she feels over her sister's death weigh heavily on her as she struggles to come to terms with her past.
As the tension mounts, Max's journey becomes a surreal and darkly comedic odyssey, ultimately leading her to confront her own demons and make difficult choices about her future. The film explores themes of loss, redemption, and the lengths we will go to for the people we love.
