After finding herself in Someday, Ava realizes that this alternate universe is fueled by the dreams and wishes of those who visit. However, she soon learns that not all dreams are meant to come true. The world is ruled by a powerful entity, known as the Dreammaker, who uses people's dreams for his own gain.
Ava is aided in her quest to return home by a group of rebels who are also trying to escape Someday. She forms a bond with a young boy named Jack, who has been stuck in Someday for years. Together, they embark on a journey to find the magical book that holds the key to getting home.
Along the way, they encounter a giant rabbit named Bunny, who is the right-hand man of the Dreammaker. Bunny is tasked with stopping Ava and Jack from escaping Someday, but they outsmart him with the help of their newfound friends.
As they reach the final challenge, Ava and Jack are faced with an ultimatum: return home alone or risk everything to rescue the other rebel prisoners who are trapped in Someday. Ava chooses to save the prisoners, and with the help of Bunny's magical powers, they are able to escape back to the real world.
