Don Hewes is a successful dancer on Broadway who is deeply in love with his partner Nadine Hale. However, on the eve of Easter, Nadine decides to end their partnership and pursue a solo career. Heartbroken and determined to prove that he is not dependent on Nadine, Don partners with a young aspiring dancer named Hannah Brown. Don's plan is to transform Hannah into a star in time for the next year's Easter parade. Despite the initial awkwardness of their new partnership, Don and Hannah slowly start working together and bonding over their shared passion for dancing. As they rehearse and perform, Don begins to fall in love with Hannah and realizes that she is the one he truly wants to be with. However, Nadine returns to complicate things, causing a rift between Don and Hannah. Will Don and Hannah be able to reconcile in time for the Easter parade?
