Dynasty Warriors is directed by Roy Hin Yeung Chow and produced by Hong Kong filmmaker Stephen Shiu Jr. The film is set in the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history and tells the story of the rise of legendary warrior Zhao Zi Long, also known as Liu Bei, and his battle against the tyrannical warlord Cao Cao. The film stars Louis Koo as Zhao Zi Long, Carina Lau as his wife Sun Shangxiang, and Wang Kai as Cao Cao. Other cast members include Tony Yang, Han Geng, Justin Cheung, and Ray Lui. The film features martial arts action and special effects, as well as a soundtrack composed by Japanese composer Taro Iwashiro. Dynasty Warriors is set to be released in Hong Kong and China in April 2021.
