Dumplings is a Hong Kong horror film directed by Fruit Chan. The story revolves around Mrs. Li, a once-beautiful woman who is now losing her youth and beauty. She yearns for her husband's attention and passion, but he is more interested in his young and attractive masseuse.

Mrs. Li learns about Aunt Mei, a local chef who claims to have a special recipe for dumplings that can restore one's youth and beauty. Desperate for a solution, Mrs. Li seeks out Aunt Mei and convinces her to make the dumplings for her.

The dumplings are made from a special ingredient, which is revealed to be aborted fetuses. Aunt Mei uses fetuses from pregnant women to make her dumplings, which are believed to have extraordinary rejuvenating properties.

As Mrs. Li continues to indulge in the dumplings, she begins to notice a remarkable improvement in her youth and beauty. However, she soon discovers the horrifying truth behind the ingredients of the dumplings and must face the consequences of her actions.

The film explores themes of youth, beauty, and obsession, and also tackles the controversial issue of abortion. Dumplings premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2004 and has since gained a reputation as a disturbing and thought-provoking horror film.
