The film follows the mishaps and misadventures of Harry Dunne and Lloyd Christmas in their teenage years as they attend high school together. The film introduces new characters, including Harry's love interest, Jessica Matthews, and school bully Turk, who torments both Harry and Lloyd. The duo also befriends a science geek named Toby, who helps them in their quest to expose the principal's nefarious plot. Along the way, there are plenty of outrageous gags, physical comedy, and slapstick humor that fans of the original film will appreciate.
