In the movie, Scrooge McDuck discovers a treasure map in one of his old books and decides to journey to the Middle East in search of the lost treasure of Collie Baba. He takes his three nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and their friend Webby along on the adventure.

When they arrive in the Middle East, they meet a genie named Genie who grants them three wishes. However, they soon discover that the genie is being pursued by the evil sorcerer Merlock who wants the genie's power for himself.

The group must navigate through dangerous terrain, including a collapsing temple and a treacherous desert, to reach the treasure before Merlock does. Along the way, they make use of their wishes which include a giant ice cream sundae and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

As they get closer to the treasure, they discover that it is not just a pile of gold and jewels, but also contains a lamp with the power to grant unlimited wishes. Scrooge must decide whether to keep the lamp for himself or to destroy it, understanding that unlimited wishes can lead to disastrous consequences.

The movie ultimately teaches a lesson about the value of friendship and family over material possessions and the dangers of greed.
