The driver/serial killer, named Jack, has multiple personality disorder, with each personality taking control of him at various times. One personality, known as "the Driver," works as a chauffeur for wealthy clients in Las Vegas, while another, known as "the Killer," is a sadistic murderer who preys on innocent people at night.
As the body count rises, a rogue detective named John begins to piece together the clues and the dark secrets of the Driver's twisted psyche. John is consumed by his quest to catch the killer and bring him to justice, even if it means risking his own life.
As the cat-and-mouse game between the Driver and John intensifies, it becomes clear that neither can escape their own demons. The film explores the themes of identity, power, and the crushing loneliness of the modern world, as each character grapples with their own inner turmoil.
The climax of the film occurs during a high-speed car chase through the neon-lit streets of Las Vegas, as the Driver and John finally confront each other in a brutal confrontation. In the end, only one will come out alive, but both will be forever scarred by the experience.
