Drive Me Home

Antonio is now living in Rome and working as a bartender, while Agostino has settled in London and is working in a garage. Antonio's father, who had become distant from him after Antonio came out as gay, had passed away, and his mother had moved to the United States. Agostino, on the other hand, had become a father and was dealing with the stress of a failing relationship.

Antonio's decision to return to Sicily is driven by his desire to confront his past and come to terms with his identity. He hopes that reconnecting with Agostino will help him understand why he had to leave in the first place and why he can never return. As they journey across Europe in a truck, they begin to uncover old secrets and confront their unresolved issues.

They also encounter other travelers along the way, including a hitchhiking artist and a group of migrants trying to cross the border. Through these encounters, Antonio and Agostino come to realize that they are not alone in their struggles, and that there is a larger world out there beyond their own personal struggles.

As they approach their destination, the two friends come to a deeper understanding of themselves and each other. They realize that their friendship is deeper than their disagreements and that they will always be connected by their memories of home.
